S.E.E.D. of Personal Power Reiki A Path to Mastery Presents |
Joe and Joann have been on the Reiki path for some time now, and have been training to be Reiki Masters with Reiki Master Chuck Mignosa since May 2000. The following relates the experience these two wonderful people had during an amazing Reiki experience in November 2000.
You will see that Reiki provides so much more than physical healing. It is a blessing to all who step onto the Reiki path. Thank you for sharing your experience Reiki Master Sensei Chuck Mignosa, and Reiki Master trainees Joe and Joann.
First, Chuck shares his perspective of the incident that occurred in November 2000:
From: Chuck Mignosa
Joann had suffered a heart attack at the end of the summer (2000) and even though she was
scheduled for angioplasty on Tuesday she wanted to attend the Reiki class on the Saturday
and Sunday before. She and Joe drove down to Massachusetts from New Hampshire and we noticed
that her color was not right. We did Reiki on her Saturday and Sunday. Sunday evening after
the last class we went out to dinner. As we were about to order, Barbara said that she was
concerned about Joan. We questioned Joan and she acknowledged that she was feeling light
headed but did not want to mention it because we were about to eat. We immediately left a
tip, even though we did not eat, explained to the maiter de that we needed to go to the
hospital and that it was not his fault, and took her to the emergency room.

Hi Chuck!
How are you? I wanted to write and thank-you for all you did for me "that
weekend"!!
I am so glad that I was able to spend that weekend with you and Barbara and
share Reiki. It certainly helped me through the tough times.
I knew I had to breath deeply when I came out of surgery, and as I was coming
out of the anesthesia I kept seeing you in Barbara's living room coaching our
breathing during class and before the tapes. I just kept following your
instructions!!!
The morning of surgery they give the patients a valium before they take them
down to the operating room. Everyone but me that is. I hadn't met with the
anasthesiologist so they couldn't give me anything. Even without the valium
I was quite calm before I went in and I know that was because of all the
Reiki coming my way. Of course as they were wheeling me in to the operating
room and putting me on the table I was filling the room and hospital with
Reiki as we did in the circle during class. I was using the symbols on my
hands and all over the operating room. I wasn't taking any chances!!!! The
nurses were surprised at how quickly I was able to leave the recovery room
and go to my own room. Gee......why do you suppose that was????
Anyway, I'm doing quite well, I have an appointment with the cardiologist
tomorrow and I am sure I will get a good report.
So it won't be long before I am back to 100%. Joe and I are eager to
continue on our path and be of any assistance to you and Serena that we can
be.
Looking forward to hearing from you (and seeing you again!!!)

Hi Chuck,
How are you? Hope all is well. Joann is home, she is tired, but I'm
sure you know that is to be expected. It will be a while before she is back
to her usual self. I'm sure she is going to milk this one for all its
worth. Thats okay though, I'm more than happy to do what I can.
I must share with you my/our Reiki experience. The morning of Joann's
operation, I gave here a Reiki treatment. I walked beside her on the way
down to the operating room. Once she went through the doors I Reiked the
operating room. Joann told me she Reiked everything . I was on the third
floor family waiting room. I was reading and sending her Reiki every 15 -20
or even 30 min. I didn't keep track of the intervals. Anyway, as I was
sending her treatments, I could see her "sitting" on the operating table
smiling at me. There was a white light or "energy" all around,
it wasn't her body, it was her energy. The surgeons and nurses were all
around her. She saw me and said "hi sweetheart" I said how are you" she
told me she was fine, and that they were doing a good job. I told her that
I loved her and she responed in kind. I told her that I needed to go back
to reading, she did not like that, I'm not sure what she said, but I repeated
"J " I need to go back reading, I will come back. A little while later, I
sent Reiki again, the same thing. Then the last time I "contacted" her, she
told me that she heard someone say something that gave her the indication
they were all most finished. I told her I would see her soon. One hour
later they wheeled her to ICU. The next day, I told her about this. She
told me she remembers me telling her that I had to go read, and she said , I
couldn't believe you that you wanted to read instead of being with me. My
heart filled with so much joy to hear her say this. I have never experience
anything like that before. The power of Reiki and Love is unlimited.
During the class I added a little to the paragraph about Reiki being safe,
gentle non-invasive form of hands-on healing. My addition was Reiki is also
compasion, understanding and non-judgemental, Reiki will never harm you, it
can only help. Most of all Reiki is Love.
Thank you so much for everything. Hope to hear from you soon.
Love and Light,
