Serena,

I hope that the Holy Day Season has so far been joyous for you.

I am reminded of a "sermon" I delievered one year at a Presbytarian Church in a small town in South Central Oregon.

I spoke of the Gifts of the Magi - New Age Cult Members of Messagers of God. It was on the Epiphany.

My basic message was that the Wise Men studied the stars and were aware of the influence the Universe had on human events. How it was these Astrolgers and practioners of what today is considered New Age, who knew that a great religious prophet and healer was being born. They followed the Star! They followed the Light! I asked if in today's church their message would be rejected and scorned as "New Age"?

With Reiki and the laying on of hands, it is hard to help Christians understand that Reiki is the way the Jesus heals (I use present tense since I believe that the spirit of Christ is present in all healings). It is a struggle at times to follow the light, to allow the light to flow through my essence and not my ego.

That I may accept the gift that the Magi bring this year, the gift of Reiki and healing, I open my heart to unconditional love and the Reiki Principles "Just for Today I will not Worry. Just for Today I will not anger.
